Arga Studios is a professional actor directory in Spain. You publish your profile with a photo, bio, credits, showreel and technical details. Casting directors, production companies and agencies search for actors directly in the directory and contact you if you fit a project. You can also browse and apply to castings posted on the platform.

Yes, completely free. Until October 2026, registration and use of the platform are free for all actors, with no credit card and no restrictions. From October, paid plans go live (starting at €9/month). Anyone registered before then will get special early adopter conditions.

Your public profile is visible to anyone: casting directors, production companies, agencies and the general public. It is also indexed on Google, which means your name may appear in search results. The private data you enter in your dashboard (phone, professional email) is only seen by the Arga Studios team and, if you choose to share it, the director you are in touch with.

Yes, there is a basic review to maintain the quality of the directory. The process is fast —usually less than 24 hours. If your profile does not meet the minimum criteria (suitable photo, genuine information) you will be notified by email with the changes needed.

In October 2026. Until then, everything is completely free for all registered actors, with no card and no restrictions. From October the paid plans go live. Anyone registered before then will get special conditions as an early adopter.

Yes. Once the paid plans are live (October 2026), you can change plan or cancel at any time from your dashboard, with no minimum term or penalties. Changes take effect immediately. If you cancel, your profile stays active until the end of the billed period.

Basic (€9/month from Oct 2026): Public profile in the directory, 1 showreel, up to 5 photos, verified profile.

Pro (€19/month): Everything in Basic plus AI-generated bio, unlimited showreel and gallery, personalised casting alerts, profile statistics, featured position in searches and messages from directors.

Premium (€39/month): Everything in Pro plus number 1 position in searches, the ability to start a conversation with directors, unlimited autotapes, AI profile analysis, monthly visibility report, priority support and early access to new features.

Available on the Pro and Premium plans. From your dashboard, you enter your career, specialities and relevant details. The AI (Claude by Anthropic) generates a professional bio in seconds. You can edit it freely, regenerate it as many times as you like and adapt it. The result is yours.

Autotapes are audition recordings that actors upload for specific castings. Some castings request them directly through the platform. The Basic plan does not include autotapes; Pro does not offer them unlimited; Premium does. If a casting asks for an autotape, you will receive the instructions in the call itself.

With the Pro and Premium plans you have access to detailed statistics: number of visits, which searches you appear in, contact rate and trends over time. With the Basic plan you have basic visit statistics.

Yes. Castings are posted directly by directors and production companies registered on the platform. We review director accounts before they can post calls. No casting on Arga Studios will ask you for money to take part. If you receive a payment request or anything suspicious, report it to [email protected].

Yes. Castings are only visible to registered users. This is a measure to ensure that calls reach real actors and that directors can filter better. Registration is free.

With the Pro and Premium plans you receive automatic email alerts when a casting is posted that matches your speciality, city and availability. With the Basic plan you can see active castings but you do not receive alerts.

Yes. Access to the directory and searching for actors are completely free for casting directors, production companies and agencies. You can filter by speciality, city, language, physical appearance and availability at no cost.

Create an account as a director at director registration, complete your profile and from your dashboard you'll be able to post castings free of charge. Actors on the Pro or Premium plan will receive an automatic notification if they match your search.

You can send a direct message to any actor from their public profile. Actors on the Pro or Premium plan can receive and reply to you. You can also post a casting and interested actors will apply directly.

The platform is geared towards the Spanish audiovisual market. Any actor can create a profile regardless of their country of residence, but posted castings generally require availability to work in Spain.

Data is stored on secure servers (Supabase, infrastructure in the EU). We do not sell or share personal data with third parties. The public profile data is whatever you choose to display. See our privacy policy for full details.
